The fashion show is an ‘old reliable’ for those in fundraising mode. This was the preferred format of Conna Community Childcare Ltd who staged a very well organised show in Conna Sports Complex on Saturday night last.
As is the norm, a mainly female audience made up the bulk of patrons. Proceedings got underway with a cheese and wine reception and this set the tone for what was a most enjoyable and entertaining evening.
Models were drawn from Conna and surrounding villages and despite their lack of catwalk experience, all gave a good account of themselves.
