Continuing a proud tradition with the weather playing its part, last Sunday's Glenbrohane Gala Day, celebrating 31 years of mighty fun, sport at its best, craic, community spirit and involvement, delivered once again in abundance.

Record crowds attended on the day with all the generations represented. Grandparents, parents and their children enjoyed the wonderful fare and attractions on offer as they reminisced on times past with family and friends, some meeting up for the first time since the 2013 event, that's Glenbrohane for you.

The undoubted stars of the day, as always in its proud history, were the girls and boys as they sported and played in the football, ground hurling and sports. Many GAA and camogie stars have played in the Glen over the years and based on the skills and commitment shown on Sunday last this is set to continue long into the future.
