Fans last the pace during Fermoy’s music marathon

Music, music and more music – that’s the simple philosophy behind the annual Fermoy Hospital fundraiser that is the ‘music marathon’.

Donegal native and proprietor of Cheers Bar in Fermoy, Paul McNulty, has been associated with the organisers from day one and his premises was the setting for this 12 hours plus music session. 

A bit like their athletic counterparts who were on marathon duty in Cork City over the weekend, the Cheers-endorsed event took a bit of completing, especially, given the soaring temperatures.
