Hitting the hundred mark is no small achievement, so it was to be expected that parent company, Glanbia, would pull out all the stops for a centenary celebration of Castlelyons Co-Op.

The event to mark this significant anniversary took place at the Glanbia Agribusiness premises in Castlelyons (home of the original co-op) on Friday afternoon last.

Special guests included: Minister for Agriculture & Food, Michael Creed, Glanbia CEO, Siobhan Talbot, Glanbia chairman and Henry Corbally along with a variety of sporting personalities and public representatives.

A huge crowd attended – most with some connection past or present to Castlelyons Co-Op.
