Lismore is home to a variety of festivals – many of them niche events that have a dedicated following. One such example is the Lismore Quilt Festival which took place last weekend.

In tandem with this was Immrama – a travel writing festival that attracts readers from all over Ireland and beyond.

Expanded to a 4 days format, Immrama is well established on the literary calendar and has a record of featuring some outstanding speakers.

This year's line up included: Colm Toibin, Christina Lamb, Terry Waite, Des Ekin, Andrew Sykes, Tom Feiling and Donald Brady.
