Tallow office 3D plan.

– 90 jobs to follow

Construction on the first of a number of Smart Working locations in the West Waterford area began this week.

Tallow, Lismore, Cappoquin and Villierstown have been brought together to form the Blackwater Valley Economic Development Zone (BVEDZ) – a collaborative project with participants including Waterford Leader Partnership, Waterford City and County Council, Tomar Trust and the four communities involved.

Community Chair and member of the Tallow Enterprise Group Board of Directors Sean Tobin, said that the new Smart Working location for Tallow will be located at the former O’Briens garage building.

“The new hub at the top of the town will be a very prestigious building and will be able to house three companies with eight persons in each, or one major company with 34 persons,” Mr Tobin said.
