Discover Cork success for Ballygiblin pupils

Ballygiblin NS pupils who took part in the Discover Cork project were rewarded with a number of notable successes.

Pupils in Ballygiblin National School who took part in the Discover Cork project were rewarded with a number of notable successes.

3rd and 4th class who completed a project entitled 'Mitchelstown - Home Of Good Cheese' came third in their category with Matheo Moran, Stephen Bramley and Charlie O'Brien 'highly commended' for their 'History of Mitchelstown'.

6th class student, Sarah Lewis, who submitted 'Carragane - Mo áit fein' came second in her section while sisters, Ava and Tara Lawton's study on their grandfather, Tom McNamara came first in the group entry.

The students committed hours of study and research to the different aspects of this project and have been rewarded for their hard work.
