
Gardening expert, Diarmuid Gavin, was the major attraction at Toss Bryan’s in Fermoy last Saturday. The television star was in big demand at an event that included an outdoor performance by Fermoy Concert Band.
The heat and moisture associated with early May has turned the attention of homeowners to the great outdoors and this is good news for Tom Bryan and his staff. It proved to be a busy afternoon for Diarmuid who road tested some garden furniture, posed for numerous photographs and solved a range of gardening related problems. The affable TV host took it all in his stride.
“These meet and greet sessions are all part of the job and yes, I do enjoy it,” he said. “I love meeting people who are passionate about gardening and I’m constantly surprised how knowledgable people have become”.
