Crowds throng to Ballyvolane House

It was a hectic, but ultimately, very successful weekend for the Christmas market that took place within the grounds of Ballyvolane House. The brainchild of Castlelyons Community Council, the market, which included a food fair ‘A Taste Of Cork & Waterford’, generated huge interest locally and regionally.

A bus service was laid on to facilitate the public (from Castlelyons to Ballyvolane House) and this operated non-stop last Saturday and Sunday.

BEAUTIFUL SETTING

The opportunity to view the grounds of Ballyvolane House was a huge selling point and organisers are extremely grateful to the Green family for hosting the event. Upwards of 40 exhibitors showcased a variety of food and drink. There were ample opportunities to sit, relax and enjoy refreshments.
