Critical upgrade works to the wastewater network in Lismore have been completed, providing a ‘reliable’ and ‘high-quality service’ to townspeople.
Uisce Éireann confirmed on Wednesday, October 8, that works delivered as part of their Wastewater Below Ground Programme were complete. The project is expected to provide a more reliable wastewater service and significantly reduce the risk of sewer flooding in the area.
“This key project will help support Lismore’s future development,” said Paul Harney, Senior Portfolio Manager with Uisce Éireann.
