Walkers were out bright and early last Saturday morning to take part in a Melleray to Lismore sponsored walk in aid of St Carthage’s Home.

Organisers went to elaborate lengths to ensure the event complied with Covid-19 regulations.

As a result, the walk had a staggered format with small groups of walkers being dispatched at regular intervals.

Chairman of St Carthage’s Home Board of Management James Tobin, said it was important that the walk went ahead, but even more important that all the rules were adhered to.
