‘Bobby Gould In Hell’ is set around the conniving movie mogul from ‘Speed the Plow’. He awakes in a strange room, only to be confronted by an interrogator and a woman he has wronged, only to be damned for being ‘cruel without being interesting’.
The cast includes Brendan Hurley, Patrick Murphy, John Baldwin and Gemma Barry, they will stage the David Mamet-penned ‘Bobby Gould In Hell’ at eight drama festivals around the country, six of which will be part of the All-Ireland competition organised by the ADCI/DLI Joint Committee.
The play is under the direction of Aisling Heffernan and is being produced by Laura Hyde. Paul Murphy will again be in charge of lighting, sound will be in the control of Richard Barry and the cast will be ably supported by crew members Clodagh McAuliffe and Vinnie McCarthy.
