To celebrate Cork LGBT+ Pride Festival, the Cork parade is coming on tour to towns in North Cork, including Fermoy, Mitchelstown and Mallow on Sunday, 25th July. The ‘Rainbow Party’ is on its way, and the organisers promise 'a few surprises’.

The flash parade will be driving through major towns in the area to bring some Pride to rural towns around Cork, and to highlight some of the community supports available to members of the LGBT+ community and their families and friends.

This year, Cork Olympian, long distance runner Aoife Cooke, is the grand marshal of the festival.

A young member of the LGBT community, who wished to remain anonymous, is looking forward to the parade coming to north Cork.
