Two of Cork’s best known hurling personalities, Patrick Horgan (Glen Rovers) and Anthony Nash (Kanturk) were in Mellerick’s Pharmacy, Fermoy last Saturday morning for a meet and greet session.
While Anthony, a teacher in Mitchelstown CBS, has stepped away from the inter-county scene to focus on his club hurling, ‘Hoggy’, the Pride of Blackpool, remains central to Cork plans for the 2022 campaign.
The occasion was especially memorable for young hurling fans who turned out in significant numbers to meet the two lads.
