Cork dual stars Briege Corkery and Rena Buckley paid a visit to Castlelyons last Thursday to view the up and coming GAA talent at the village’s Cúl Camp, while also taking time to check out the scenery and visit local businesses.

Between them they have won 32 All-Ireland medals, 16 each in camogie and 10 in Gaelic football with the Rebels’ ladies teams.

The pair paid a visit to Martin’s Bakery to meet Liam Martin and try some of their delicacies, before testing out the old-fashioned mower on the outskirts of the village.

Up at the GAA field, the 2015 All-Stars’ met with the 190 participants in the Cúl Camp and received two Waterford Crystal bowls from the club.

Before they left, they were treated to a rendition of Bold Thady Quill by the talented youngsters.
