What a fantastic contribution Fermoy Concert Band makes to the town. Drawn from amateur musicians, these volunteers, under the direction of Ruairi Dineen, commit countless hours perfecting their art.

On Saturday evening last, this group who have a long and distinguished history, were special guests at a carol service held in St Patrick’s Church, Fermoy.

Perfectly in tune and performing to their usual high standard, the band treated patrons to some delightful hymns such as ‘O Come All Ye Faithful’, ‘Hark The Herald Angels Sing’, ‘Away In A Manger’ and the classic ‘Silent Night’.
