On Friday 22nd and Saturday 23rd April, St Patrick’s Players, Cloverfield return to Kilmallock with their production of ‘It’s The Real McCoy’ by Tommy Marren.
Set in the Ireland of 1963, the play centres on Madge Molloy who has lived over forty years of her life wondering why her husband Tom, whom she was married to for just five months, disappeared without trace.
However, the arrival of a new curate to the parish – Fr Michael McCoy – is about to throw light on the circumstances surrounding Tom’s mysterious disappearance. Tickets €12/€10

On Monday, 25th April, Friars’ Gate Youth Theatre present X-Factory by Tom Swift. Kylie dreams of becoming a TV talent show star and escaping the hell of scrubbing dishes in the family restaurant where chips are the only thing on the menu.
Then along comes mysterious reality TV host Kidd Young Jr, offering fame and fortune. With Kidd’s help, Kylie assumes the alter ego ‘Cindy’ and before you know it she’s the winner of X-Factory. Now Kylie’s faced with a choice between fame and family.
