The TY students at St Colman’s College Fermoy have hit the ground running on their ambition towards getting a Christmas No1 in Ireland as they reached the number one slot in the Top Songs chart on iTunes almost immediately after the official release of their charity single, ‘Lean On Me’ on Wednesday.

A crowd of representatives from community groups, other local schools, local businesses, the selected charities and more, gathered in the hall at St Colmans on Wednesday of this week, awaiting the official release of the #ColmansStandTogether single which will raise much needed funds for Crumlin Children’s Hospital, the Ronald McDonald House, Bumbleance and for a fellow classmate who is currently undergoing treatment for cancer.

The song is now available for download on iTunes for 99cent and people can also donate directly to the charities at https://www.ifundraise.ie/colmansstandtogether.
