Co-opted councillors officially take up their seats

Five new councillors officially took up their seats at Cork County Council during a full council meeting that took place on Friday, December 20.

Vacancies arising from outgoing councillors now elected to Dáil Eireann included the seats of councillors Noel McCarthy, Liam Quaide, John Paul O’Shea, Eoghan Kenny and Seamus McGrath. During, what was the last council meeting ahead of the Christmas break, incoming selected councillors were officially invited to take up their seats.
