A new book entitled ‘Celebrating 50 Years Bridging the Generations’ was launched on Saturday night, December 28 at St Michael’s Hall in Ballyduff Upper.
The book, consisting of the memories through 50 years of Ballyduff Comhaltas and The Booley House, features images, newspaper clippings, details and history spanning the group's existance.
“We had a great crowd for it and we ran a mini-concert in conjunction with it, with our music, song and dance with present and past artists who were part of the Booley House Show over the years. The concert was explaining parts of the book as well and bringing it to life,” said Tom Hyland of The Booley House.
