Castletownroche is revelling in the recent SuperValu TidyTowns results, having achieved their first silver medal in the awards.
The achievement has been described as a ‘great boost’ as Castletown’ was named ‘County Second’ in the Cork North category, thus achieving the silver medal. This success comes following nine consecutive bronze medal awards.
With a mark of 386, Castletownroche also increased its score since last year by 11 points, receiving several favourable comments from the judges in their 2025 report.
