Cappoquin Railway Football Club faced yet another setback due to anti-social behaviour as several windows at the clubhouse were smashed last week. The incident is believed to have occurred in the early evening or late afternoon on Thursday, according to Martin Reddy of Cappoquin Railway FC.

“Every window in the place is after being smashed except the three at the front. It happened sometime Thursday. We had a meeting there Wednesday night and there were a couple of them that had been previously broken, but sometime Thursday, there was a call around dinnertime Thursday, and when I went down, I couldn’t believe the state of the place. It was the middle of the day,” he said.

Concerns regarding the ongoing anti-social behaviour have now raised the question of whether the club’s facilities, much of which are open for locals to use, should be locked in the future to protect the facility from such vandalism.
