Callum Lees (13) and Dylan O’Leary (15) who are both from Rathcormac, are due to return home from Buenos Aires, Argentina this Thursday night after a very successful few days at the Taekwon-do World Championships.
The boys were representing Ireland and Dylan came home with a silver medal in sparring and bronze medal in the patterns competition, while Callum took bronze in the junior team Sparring finals alongside Dylan.
Both boys train under Mr Ruairi O'Brien, VI dan of Redking Taekwon-do and they fought hard to secure their place on the Irish Team.
Ireland fared well overall in the championships bringing home a total of 28 medals: 4 gold, 5 silver and 19 bronze.
