Calls to ensure ‘no child is left without a bus ticket’

The annual issue of securing school transport is back on the agenda as the return to school season looms.

Minister for Education, Norma Foley has been called upon to ensure that no child is left without a bus ticket for 2024, in light of the issues with school transport that have arisen annually.

Tabling a motion on the matter that Monday’s meeting of the Northern Divisional Committee, Cllr William O’Leary outlined that it is now the time of year when ‘the chaos starts’.
