Building contractors working on an extension to St Joseph’s national school at Barrack Hill, Fermoy had a sustantial amount of tools stolen over the weekend in a break-in to the premises.
A Kango hammer, drills, extension cables and other items were taken in the burglary which occurred some time between 5pm on Friday, March 8th and 8am on Monday, March 11th.
The tools belonged to a number of different contractors working at the site. Gardai are investigating.
Meanwhile a large amount of commercial diesel fuel was stolen from a tank at a premises in Ballyhooly on Sunday night last. The incident occurred sometime between 10pm and 7.30am.
