A large crowd gathered at Kilcrumper New Cemetery last Friday to remember the late Brian Dolan and officially unveil a tree that has been planted on the grounds of the cemetery in his memory.

Mr Dolan, who passed away last October, worked at Kilcrumper New Cemetery between 2008 and 2014.

Members of Fermoy Municipal Authority accepted a request made by local funeral director Martin Neligan to plant a tree in Mr Dolan’s memory in January.

At Friday’s ceremony, chairperson of Fermoy Municipal Authority, Cllr Ian Doyle paid tribute to Mr Dolan for his work within the cemetery.
