Bingo success for Kilworth Camogie Club

Kilworth Camogie Club’s bingo fundraiser attracted a very large crowd to the hall in Scoil Mhairtín N.S. last Friday evening. Leading the charge were the club’s many young players, who brought plenty of banter, excitement and colour to proceedings. Adults did most of the organising and did it very well.

Fundraising is an integral part of running any sports club and Kilworth Camogie Club is no different. It helps enormously when ‘cash collecting’ can be combined with a fun night out and this is exactly what happened last Friday.

Better known for his involvement with plays and pantos, Cathal O’Keeney displayed his versatility by calling the bingo numbers. As you would expect, his sound system was first class and Cathal’s expertise was much appreciated.
