
Citizens, some senior, some not so senior from the Galbally area of south Limerick, gathered in The Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown last Sunday for their annual get together. Originally set for Christmas, the event had to be rescheduled, however, there was considerable demand for it to go ahead and organisers were delighted to comply.
The first item on the agenda was a venue and the committee quickly settled on the comfortable and friendly surroundings of Mitchelstown’s foremost hotel, the Pat Tangney owned, ‘Firgrove’.
Pat and his efficient staff were delighted to have their Limerick neighbours on board and they had everything in place for the substantial group, who began to arrive from 1.30pm.
