This Saturday, October 8, children at Glenahulla National School will be lacing up their runners to participate in the Bernie Young Memorial Run/Walk 6km.
This event is now in its third year and is going from strength to strength as it proves to be a great family and community day out.
All are welcome and registration will take place at 2pm at the school, with the run/walk starting at 3pm. Entry Fee: €10-Adult, Family-€15, €5–Young Adults (13-17 years).
Prizes will be given for 1st/2nd/3rd male and female winners and for the first young adult. Afterwards, there will be spot prizes and refreshments served in the school hall.
Proceeds from the event will go towards the maintenance and training for the defibrillator unit located on the school grounds and towards school resources for pupils.
