Beer shortage as Castletown’ parade proves a hit

Castletownroche was ‘rocking’ on Sunday as crowds made their way into the village for what is believed to be their first-ever St Patrick’s Day parade.

A strong representation of local groups, clubs and organisations turned out, with plenty of entertainment and craic, the event being organised by Castletownroche Events.

Michael Clancy, one of the oldest residents in Castletownroche at 92 years young, was named grand marshal and proudly led the proceedings.
