Battling it out in Ballyduff for a great cause

A full house for a full on show that gave full value for money. That was the verdict following last Saturday night’s ‘Lip Sync Battle’ in St. Michael’s Hall, Ballyduff.

The venue was significant, as all proceeds from the night are going towards replacing the hall’s existing roof. Opened in 1945, St. Michael’s Hall has served the people of Ballyduff well and is the setting for large scale shows, such as the West Waterford Drama Festival and the popular traditional show, the Booley House.

WILLING VOLUNTEERS

Critical to Lip Sync’s success was getting locals to sign up and with very little encouragement, representatives from Ballyduff Drama, Ballyduff Tea & Chat Group, Ballyduff Ladies Football Club, An Sibin, The Log Cabin and the townland of Tooradoo, stepped forward to compete.
