The Roche family travelled to Cavan last month for the Christening of little Grace King – granddaughter of Micheal and Caroline Roche from Glenacunna, Ballyporeen.
The journey from south Tipperary to Corlough, a rural village in County Cavan was uneventful.
The visitors settled into their seats at St Patrick’s Church in Corlough, awaiting the arrival of the Kings – little Grace, her parents, Philip Sr. and Noreen Roche (Ballyporeen) along with Grace’s brother, Philip Jr. They, along with Noreen’s sister, Joanna, duly arrived and the wedding commenced – yes, wedding!
The ultimate surprise had been sprung …
