The Better Life Cycle committee are a group of Mitchelstown based volunteers who've raised thousands of euro for St Joseph's Foundation in Charleville.
Best known for their cycling exploits, the group have hosted a number of successful Christmas auctions, the most recent, being held in Jackie O'Brien's, Mitchelstown last Saturday night.
The Walsh family are heavily involved in this event and Maurice was once again back on auctioneering duty. An array of good, includings, match tickets, sporting memorabilia, hampers, vouchers, spirits, wines, chocolates and toys went under the hammer. In a great result for organisers, all items were sold.
