School transport issues are expected to rear their head once again in the region in the coming weeks, with local families set to scramble for seats on school bus routes.
It is believed that impacted areas this year may include Glenville, Clondulane, Ballynoe and Rathcormac, similar to the areas affected in previous years.
Speaking with The Avondhu ahead of the issuing of tickets for the new school term, Cllr William O’Leary said that he ‘can’t foresee a situation where there aren’t problems. It’s just a system they haven’t fixed’.
