CBS Secondary School in Mitchelstown is seeking contractors to draw up a design for a €2 million modernisation and expansion project, set to get under way as the green light for funding has been given from Government.
Mary Hannon (Principal) said that all at CBS were delighted that the project will proceed, which will increase capacity across the school campus.
The plan will see a dedicated preparation room for woodworking, a specialist set up for computer technical drawing classes, as well as new student and staff toilet facilities in place.
