Rathcormac Vintage Club have an excellent record when it comes to assisting good causes and on Sunday next (23rd March) members and supporters will stage a road run in aid of The Alzheimer Society. Over the last 8 years the club have managed to raise €55,000 and hopes are high that this weekend's event will be well supported.

Interested individuals are asked to assemble at the old car boot sale site in Rathcormac at 10am in preparation for a 11am departure time. Light refreshments will be served prior to the run and there will be an official pit stop in Lisgoold. The run finishes at The Rathcormac Inn.

Commenting on the fundraiser, Amy Murphy of The Alzheimer Society, said it was very considerate of Rathcormac Vintage Club to assist them. "This gesture is much appreciated and I hope the day goes well, fundraising of this kind is most welcome" Amy said. Any make or model of vintage car, tractor, truck or motorcycle is welcome to take part in the run.
