16 year old Alexandra Ohrim has been making her mark this year, culminating in her painting entitled ‘Blackberries’ featuring in the 2017 Texaco Children’s Arts Calendar throughout the month of September.
Earlier this year, both Alexandra and fellow student Katie Cody (17) received a special merit award for their artwork and were each awarded an art box worth €150.
Their art teacher in Loreto is Ms Elenor Curtin who spoke highly of both students on their success at the time and complimented them on their fine artistic abilities.
