All roads led to Dublin last Saturday when a bus from Fermoy organised by Cloyne Diocesan Youth Services (Fermoy) hit the road for the Aviva Stadium where local band ‘The IV’ took part in the Irish Youth Music Awards, organised by Youth Work Ireland.
This was the culmination of months of hard work, starting in December when two St Colman’s students Chris McGrath and Brendan Daly, joined with two students from Coláiste an Chraoibhín, Jordan Farrell and Ciaran Lavery.
Where normally a rivalry may in ways exists between the two schools, they four joined forces to create ‘The IV’.
The IV were involved in the music group in Cloyne Diocesan Youth Services Fermoy and took on the challenge of entering the regional heats …
