Ralph Riegel to speak at Springsteen heritage discussion

‘His music has been the soundtrack to my life’

Fermoy’s very own Ralph Riegel has been selected as a panellist to discuss the Irish heritage of Bruce Springsteen, as part of the Kennedy Summer School in New Ross next week.

The southern correspondent for the Irish Independent is a lifelong superfan of Springsteen and has been attending his concerts for almost forty years, travelling worldwide and taking in more than 50 concerts to date. He has now been given the opportunity to discuss Springsteen’s family links with Ireland, his commitment to Irish fans and his deep rooted love for the country.

“I am honoured to be asked,” Ralph told The Avondhu this week.
