Parents’ council enhance student life in St Fanahan’s College, Mitchelstown

A proactive parents’ council have been recognised by students for their efforts in securing facilities and services for their Mitchelstown school.

Parents' councils are a great way for proactive parents to get involved in their children's lives at school and in St Fanahan's College, Mitchelstown the parents have been busy enhancing life in school, as they recently sponsored a number of items for the school.

After they had worked closely with the students' council, a microwave for student use and an Apple TV were both purchased. The students also expressed an interest in bike parking facilities, as many students are keen on cycling to school, so a number of bike racks for the school were also purchased. 

The students and staff members in St Fanahan's College would like to thank the parents' council for their ongoing
generous support.
