A ‘good level of interest’ has been expressed thus far in the Tallow Streetscape Enhancement Initiative, according to Sean Tobin, chairperson of the Tallow Enterprise Group Board of Directors.
Funding to the tune of €100,000 was awarded for Tallow at the end of August, under the measure to enhance streetscapes and shopfronts.
Several projects can be carried out through the funding including upgrades to building facades, artwork, murals, lighting, street furniture and canopies.
