There was a fine attendance at last Sunday's ceremony in Gortroche, Ballyhooly, to mark the centenary of Liam Burke's tragic death.
Born in 1900 to James and Margaret Burke, Liam was very involved in volunteer activity despite having a disability.
The Celtic cross and the environs of the Liam Burke monument were restored to a very high order for last weekend's ceremony.
