An animal sanctuary in Kilfinane has issued an urgent request for financial help as Covid-19 has devastated its funding.
Limerick Animal Welfare (LAW) sanctuary is in serious financial trouble as the lockdown has meant that its usual source of income from its charity shops, which have been forced to close, has ceased.
Group leader, Marion Fitzgibbon, said LAW has seen its income cut by 50%.
