Fermoy featured on RTE news numerous times on Sunday April 15.
Local man and weekly contributor to The Avondhu, Donal O’Keeffe, contacted RTE to ask if they would like to visit Fermoy and try to highlight the detrimental effects it will have on Fermoy if the weir is not repaired soon.
Paschal Sheehy, southern editor for RTE, visited Fermoy on last Thursday. He interviewed Donal O’Keeffe down by the water below the bridge and the RTE camera crew also filmed Fermoy Rowing Club on the water.
