Locally, hard core fans and those with a passing interest in the sport of trials MMA, got a flavour of what all the fuss is about when Sean Tobin Trials Mixed Martial Arts, Mitchelstown, a notable and successful exponent of the sport, staged a show in The Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown last Saturday night.
To all intents and purposes, the show was a sellout with young people accounting for the bulk of the audience.
The night featured a range of fights that included conventional boxing and K1 fights – while a full bar and disco entertained the crowds following the fight night action.
