A 63 year gap linking a local man with the An Oige Hostel at Glengarra was bridged recently during the open day at Mountain Lodge. Having seen the announcement of the open day advertised on The Avondhu, Jerry Keating from Kilworth said he simply had to go along.
“Only for The Avondhu I would have missed it. I have some wonderful memories of times spent at the hostel in my young days,” Jerry recalls.
