Mitchelstown Lions Club held a celebration event in The Firgrove Hotel on Saturday night to mark the club’s 40 years in existence.
The event started with a cheese and wine reception and some beautiful music by Noreen Hellen on the harp.
President John Weir opened proceedings. He welcomed the members past and present and also paid tribute to the members who had passed to their eternal reward during this period.
