Herlihy’s Centra, Fermoy organised a very successful ‘Pink Walk’ in aid of cancer research last Saturday.

Conditions were ideal, with participants assembling in the St. Colman’s College, Fermoy sports campus around lunch time. Centra staff oversaw the registration process with a selection of freebies distributed to help people on their way. The event had a real family feel to it and morale was high as walkers of all ages set off.

Herlihy’s Centra, Fermoy have a wonderful track record when it comes to charities who assist those battling cancer and last Saturday’s fundraiser was another financial boost for the Irish Cancer Society.
