Works to commence on major logistics hub in ‘Town

Construction is due to commence shortly on the first phase of a major new logistics development right outside Mitchelstown, in a project that is expected to further strengthen the area’s key strategic position on the main Cork to Dublin motorway corridor. 

The development, known as ‘Ireland South Logistics Park’, is to be built beside junction 12 on the M8, neighbouring the Aldi distribution centre. 

STRATEGIC LOCATION

The first phase of the scheme will comprise of three detached units with a combined floor area of 293,000 square feet. The units are aimed at logistics, manufacturing and distribution tenants, with the development’s promoters pointing to the location’s ease of access to Cork, Dublin and the extensive national road network.
