Woodland wonders take over the Ramp Boreen in Tallow

If you go down to the Ramp Boreen you’re sure of a big surprise – as ‘woodland creatures’ takes on a whole new meaning in Tallow.

Recently, three new wood sculptures, carved by renowned master craftsman, John Hayes of Special Branch Carvers, have appeared at the Ramp Boreen walkway, tying in with the existing two-headed dragon at Hyde Park.

A joint venture between Tallow Tidy Towns and Tallow Enterprise Centre, the sculptures installed last week form part of a larger development for the area …
